Facet Joint Injections

Facet joint injections involve the injection of a local anesthetic and/or corticosteroid medication directly into the affected facet joint. The injection can be guided by imaging techniques such as X-ray to ensure accuracy.

The local anesthetic provides immediate pain relief, while the corticosteroid medication reduces inflammation and provides longer-term pain relief.
